SDLABIO Weighing Paper
SDLABIO Weighing paper is a special paper designed for laboratory balances. It is mainly used to carry powdered, small particles or hygroscopic drugs to prevent samples from directly contacting the balance tray and causing corrosion or contamination. The surface is smooth and almost no drug residue is left, ensuring weighing accuracy.

Feature Of Lab Weighing Paper
- Waterproof & moisture resistant: Unlike standard weighing papers, ours is engineered with advanced waterproof and moisture-resistant technology, effectively preventing deformation due to humidity and eliminating the risk of sample compromise.
- Oil-resistant & non-stick: The chemistry weigh paper oil-resistant surface prevents grease marks and minimizes residue, ensuring your samples remain uncontaminated. This helps improve accuracy in weighing paper chemistry applications and is ideal for sensitive analytical procedures.
- Precision & clean handling: Our non-adhesive surface ensures easy transfer of powders and solids, reducing contamination risks and enhancing the precision of your weight measurements—a key factor in maintaining laboratory accuracy.
- Durable & reinforced: With a thicker structure and strong load-bearing capacity, this paper resists tearing even when handling bulkier samples, making it a reliable choice for any weigh paper lab setup.
FAQ Of Chemistry Weigh Paper
Can I reuse weighing paper?
Reuse is not recommended. Weighing paper chemistry lab is a disposable consumable. Reuse will bring the risk of cross contamination and affect the accuracy of the experiment.
What's the difference between weighing paper and weighing boats?
Weighing paper is thin, lightweight, and easily folded, making it suitable for small powder or granular samples. Weighing boats, on the other hand, are made of rigid materials and are more suitable for liquids or samples requiring a higher load capacity. Both can be used with electronic balances, and the choice depends on the sample type.
What is the difference between chemistry weighing papers and ordinary paper?
Weighting paper has higher purity, low ash content and anti-adsorption performance, is not easy to adhere to the sample, and will not affect the experimental analysis results, while ordinary paper may contain impurities or easily absorb moisture, affecting the weighing accuracy.
Can lab weighing paper be used for high temperature operation?
Generally, weighing paper is not resistant to high temperatures. If high temperature treatment is required, it is recommended to choose a quartz boat or aluminum weighing dish.
How to use chemistry weighing paper?
- Make sure the weighing paper is clean, dry, and not damaged or contaminated.
Choose a weighting paper of appropriate size according to the sample size (avoid overflow due to too small a size, or affect weighing accuracy due to too large a size of paper weigh). - Place the anti static weighing paper: Place the weighing paper chemistry gently on the tray of the electronic balance or analytical balance.
Tare (zero): Press the “Tare” or “Zero” button on the balance to deduct the weight of the weighing paper to ensure that the subsequent weighing value is the net weight of the sample. - Weigh the sample: Take the sample with a clean medicine spoon or spatula and gently shake it off in the center of the weighing paper.
Add small amounts multiple times to avoid overflow due to pouring too much at one time. If you need to weigh accurately, you can slowly add it to the target value and tap the medicine spoon to control the amount. - Transfer the sample: After weighing, fold the weigh paper chemistry in half to form a “V”-shaped groove, or use a medicine spoon/brush to transfer the sample to a container (such as a beaker, test tube). The operation needs to be gentle to avoid spilling the sample.
- Handling laboratory weighing paper: discard directly after use, do not reuse (to prevent cross contamination).
If corrosive or toxic substances are weighed, waste must be handled according to laboratory specifications.
