FAQ of dual bulb disposable pipette

What's the difference between a dual bulb plastic pipette and a regular plastic dropper pipettes?

The double-bladder design of the dual bulb pipette ensures smoother aspiration and dispensing, preventing splashing or over-aspiration due to unstable pressure.

This product is designed for single-use, so we recommend using the pre-sterilized version. If secondary sterilization is required, please confirm that the material used is heat-resistant (PE is generally not heat-resistant, while PP can withstand temperatures of 121°C for a short period).

  • Prepare the dual bulb disposable transfer pipettes
  1. Confirm that the pipette is sterile (if used for sterility testing) and has no visible damage.
  2. Select the appropriate size as needed.
  • Pipette (press the first balloon)
  1. First, squeeze both balloons to remove all air.
  2. Release the first balloon (the small ball on top). The liquid will be drawn into the plastic pipettes to near the scale mark.
  3. Keep the second balloon (the large ball on the bottom) squeezed to prevent the liquid from rising further.
  • Draining (Pressing the Second Air Bladder)
  1. Move the tube over the target container, release the first air bladder, and press the second air bladder.
  2. The liquid will be evenly discharged. Control the speed of pressure to ensure a steady discharge without splashing.
  • Discarding the tube
  1. After use, discard the disposable pipettes safely according to laboratory regulations (hazardous samples should be handled as biological or chemical waste).
