  • Standard PCR plates are made of PP. Dual-material PCR plates are produced by two-shot injection molding, with a PC frame and PP wells, combining high strength and excellent thermal conductivity in one design.
  • The plate body is free of bubbles and impurities, reducing light scattering interference.

  • Precise identification: Each PCR plate edge is marked with laser-etched digital numbers (such as A1-H12 coordinates), which supports rapid positioning of samples in high-throughput experiments and avoids confusion of well positions. The numbering uses high-contrast color matching (such as black font + white base plate), which is suitable for different lighting conditions, and the reading clarity is improved by 40%.

Selection suggestions

  • Manual/low-cost experiments: Skirtless plates are more cost-effective, but attention should be paid to sealing (matched with high-quality sealing film).

Yes. SDLABIO offers both clear and white PCR plates suitable for qPCR experiments. White plates enhance fluorescent signal reflection and improve detection sensitivity, while clear plates are more suitable for conventional PCR or assays requiring optical clarity.

We recommend using a DNase- and RNase-free sealing film and using filter tips during sample loading and manipulation to reduce aerosol contamination.

The biggest advantage of double-shot injection molding PCR plates over standard PCR plates is their improved thermal conductivity and greater plate stability, making them suitable for high-sensitivity and high-throughput experiments. Key advantages include:
