FAQ of lab freezer racks
How do freezer rack shelf improve lab efficiency?
By using racks, laboratories save space, reduce sample handling time, and minimize the risk of damaging sensitive samples during retrieval.
What types of consumables can be stored in deep freezer racks?
Laboratory freezer racks are ideal for holding cryogenic vials, freezer boxes, centrifuge tubes, and microtubes. They keep samples organized and easily retrievable.
What is the difference between stainless steel and aluminum rack for freezer?
Stainless steel racks provide maximum durability and strength, while aluminum racks are lighter and more economical, making them suitable for routine sample storage.
What is the difference between chest freezer racks and freezer racks for chest freezer, and how do they help in sample storage?
Chest freezer racks, also called freezer racks for chest freezer, are specifically designed to fit the horizontal layout of chest freezers. Unlike upright freezer racks, they allow samples to be stored in a top-loading format, making them ideal for biobanks and laboratories with limited space. By organizing cryogenic vials, freezer boxes, and centrifuge tubes in a structured way, these racks maximize storage capacity, improve sample accessibility, and prevent disorganization inside the freezer.
What types of cryo freezer racks can I choose from?
Drawer panels with label slots and handles. Handles are pivoted to swing up and down. When not in use, the handle swings down against the drawer panel, when in use, it swings up to a horizontal position to push and pull the drawer. Since the handle fits snugly on the drawer panel, it does not take up much space.
We add low temperature resistant plastic ring at the drawer handle to make the handle and the drawer panel spaced at an appropriate distance, thus preventing the handle from freezing with the outer wall of the freezer shelf rack, and also avoiding the low temperature damage caused by the user’s bare hands directly grasping the metal handle, providing effective protection for the operator.
The drawer of chest freezer rack has a marking card position, stamping design from the inside to the outside, to prevent freezing off at low temperatures, and to facilitate sample marking and orderly management.
Side pick-up drawer freezing rack, not only convenient to mark the frozen samples information, but also conducive to the drawer pull out, from the side of the knock, push the freezing box, remove its bottom plate, the surface of the ice, the horizontal push out of the workstation the other hand from the opposite side of the pick-up. The support partition realizes the complete isolation of each station, and in the case of thicker frost, it prevents the frozen storage boxes from sticking to each other, and facilitates the rapid removal of samples.
