SDLABIO Disposable reagent reservoirs (also known as sample reservoirs) are commonly used disposable laboratory consumable used to temporarily store reagents, buffers, or samples during pipetting operations. It is particularly well-suited for multichannel pipettes and high-throughput experiments. Designed for single-use, it prevents sample cross-contamination and is widely used in immunology, ELISA testing, and cell culture fluid preparation.

Feature Of Low Volume Reagent Reservoir
- Made of pure imported medical-grade polypropylene (PP) or PS, it’s chemically resistant. The PP reservoir is autoclavable.
- The widened and hardened base provides excellent stability.
- The V-shaped bottom maximizes pipetting capacity.
- The triangular drainage design prevents spillage during pouring.
- Multiple specifications to choose from: common capacities such as reagent reservoir 5ml, reagent reservoir 10 ml, reagent reservoir 25ml, reagent reservoir 50ml, 65ml, and 100ml reagent reservoir. The reagent reservoir 50 ml is available in PP and PS materials.
- Produced in a Class 100,000 cleanroom, it’s DNA/RNA enzyme-free and pyrogen-free.
- Individual sterile packaging and bulk non-sterile packaging are available.

What pipetting tools are compatible with disposable reservoirs?
They are primarily used with single-channel and multi-channel pipettes. They can also be used with some semi-automatic pipettes.
How to choose small volume reagent reservoirs of different capacities?
If your experiment is small-scale, such as setting up an ELISA or PCR system, and you only need to hold a few dozen milliliters of buffer or reagents, then a small-capacity pipette reservoir (such as 5ml reagent reservoir, 10 ml reagent reservoir, 25 ml or 50ml reagent reservoir) is more suitable, reducing reagent waste and facilitating quick changes.
For high-throughput experiments, such as large-scale pipetting in 96-well or 384-well plates, or continuously dispensing the same solution on an automated pipetting platform, a dedicated automated reagent reservoir is required. This ensures sufficient volume for the pipette or pipetting robot during a single operation, avoiding frequent refills.
How to choose reagent reservoirs of different materials?
- PS (Polystyrene) reservoirs: High transparency and cost-effective, suitable for single-use applications. Not heat-resistant and cannot be autoclaved.
- PP (Polypropylene) reservoirs: Chemically resistant and can withstand high temperatures up to 121 °C, suitable for autoclaving, and can be reused multiple times.
