How to use the ice box chemistry?
- Put the ice box in a refrigerator at -20℃ or below for more than 8 hours in advance.
- After taking it out, place it on the operating table and start placing sample tubes.
- It is recommended to wear nitrile gloves during use to avoid frostbite.
- After use, wipe the surface of the ice box dry and put it back in the freezer for next use.
How long can an ice box laboratory maintain a low temperature?
A standard ice box can maintain a low temperature of 04℃ for about 24 hours in a room temperature (about 25℃) environment. The specific time depends on the ambient temperature and the frequency of opening the lid.
Can laboratory ice boxes be sterilized at high temperatures?
Most pcr tube freezer boxes cannot be sterilized at high temperatures or high pressures. It is recommended to use alcohol wipes or cold sterilization methods to clean them.
