SDLABIO Centrifuge Tubes
SDLABIO Centrifuge tubes are commonly used disposable consumables in laboratories. Designed for sample separation, precipitation, and collection during high-speed centrifugation, they are resistant to high centrifugal forces and a wide range of chemical reagents.
- The tubes are smooth, highly transparent, and resistant to chemical corrosion.
- Clear graduations and are available with flip-top or screw caps, with frosted or printed writable areas.
- DNase/RNase-free, pyrogen-free, with endotoxin levels less than 0.1 EU/mL.
- Withstand temperatures ranging from -80℃ to 121℃ and are autoclavable at 121℃/15 psi (15 minutes).
- Low-adsorption products are available for customization, effectively preventing liquid adhesion and residue.

FAQ of Centrifuge Tubes
What is the difference between centrifuge tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, and centrifuge bottles?
Centrifuge tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, and centrifuge bottles serve similar purposes but differ mainly in volume range, centrifugation force tolerance, and applications:
Microcentrifuge tubes: 0.5 mL–2.0 mL, ideal for molecular biology and small-volume samples
Centrifuge tubes: Typically 5 mL–100 mL, used for routine laboratory centrifugation
Centrifuge bottles: Usually 175 mL–500 mL, designed for high-speed or large-volume centrifugation
What is the difference between snap cap and screw cap centrifuge tubes?
Snap cap centrifuge tube: Easy to open and close, ideal for quick handling and frequent access
Screw cap centrifuge tube: Provide better sealing, suitable for high-speed centrifugation, transport, and long-term storage
Are centrifuge tubes compatible with standard centrifuges?
Most centrifuge tubes are manufactured to international standards and are compatible with common centrifuges and rotors.
Before use, please verify:
- Tube dimensions
- Adapter requirements
- Rotor speed and RCF compatibility
